Then drop in any Tuesday morning at 6:30 am to visit a meeting. For directions, see the link from the main menu. You'll get to see what Toastmasters is all about, and you will even have the option of participating as we practice impromptu speaking.
We invite you to visit us 1-3 times to find out if this is right for you. Then submit a simple, one-page application to join. You'll receive communications and leadership manuals, and be assigned a mentor. From then on, you'll have opportunities at each meeting to develop your skills.
Many members find that in just a few weeks they are much more comfortable in front of a group, and with practice, as they become more skilled, they usually find that they really enjoy public speaking.
