Welcome to Early Risers Toastmasters!
We are a friendly and diverse group of people who support each other in improving our communications and leadership skills. We help each other every step of the way as we progress through the Toastmasters program and build our skills.
What makes Early Risers special?
Every activity is focused on the Toastmasters educational program and is designed to help our members improve their skills. Whatever your goals, the program can be tailored to help you achieve them. We receive an exceptional number of awards due to the strength of our education program.
After every speech the speaker receives a written and oral evaluation from an assigned club member, and shorter written evaluations from every other club member. As a club we focus on useful evaluations which give the speaker specific advice he or she can use in their very next speech.
Our members rarely have conflicts with our early morning meeting time, so they are able to attend regularly and develop new skills quickly.
Early Risers meets Tuesday mornings from 6:30 to 8 am in Palo Alto. We start each Tuesday morning with a fun and inspirational meeting, which ends in time for everyone to go about all their other activities for the day. Come in the morning and free up your schedule the rest of the day!
Over the last 35 years Early Risers Toastmasters has helped many people develop their public speaking and leadership skills. With our convenient time, before the rush of the day, our awesome atmosphere and a great group of members, many people find this a great way to pursue their personal communication and leadership goals.

We love to have visitors. Dont worry! Everyone in a Toastmasters club was once at the level you are now. The environment is friendly and supportive, and the self-paced program allows you to build confidence with each speaking assignment. And youll love the applause! Constructive evaluation is the heart of the Toastmasters program. Each time you give a prepared speech, an evaluator will point out strengths and suggest improvements. At first youll be applauded for your effort; later youll be applauded for your skill.
